Group Paddles and Eco Tours
Come join us on a group tour on one of Toledo Bend's beautiful Designated Paddle Trails! From fun events to Eco Tours, let us show you the beauty and history of our unique East Texas area through kayaking! With minimal disturbance of the fragile ecosystem, we'll quietly slip through the backwaters and observe wildlife including many species of birds, deer, wild hogs, turtles and an occasional alligator. Native trees, shrubs and both emergent and submerged aquatic plants abound. Depending on pace and observation stops, some of the tours may run over the scheduled times. A list of open tours is available on our Events page, and we are happy to work with your group to schedule your own private tour.
Premium Kayaks and all paddling gear is provided. Bring your hydrating drinks, snacks, sunscreen, shoes that can get wet, a hat, your camera with waterproof case (we provide a waterproof phone pouch), and paddling gloves are strongly recommended to help with paddle grip and preventing blisters.
Children must be accompanied by a parent, be 13 or older and be able to safely paddle one of our kayaks. Lost Frontier is a perfect family friendly tour. We limit Patroon Bayou and Palo Gaucho East (main lake side) to Children 15 and older due the length and possibility of winds and boat wakes on these trails.
To book a tour email paddle@toledobendkayakrental.com We're limited to 4 participants with a minimum of 2 to schedule most trips. The trip cost is payable in full at the time of booking. You'll be emailed an invoice with secure payment and Liability Release Waiver links. Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of payment and the completed Waiver for each person in your group. Parents will need to complete the Waiver for children. Please book as early as possible to assure you have a spot!
Our refund policy: You will receive a full refund or opportunity to reschedule in the event we need to cancel your tour due to bad weather or if we receive less than the minimum number of participants. We'll keep in contact with you leading up to your tour. If you wish to cancel your tour, we must be notified a minimum of 24 hours prior to the start of the trip to issue you a full refund. Same day cancellations cannot be refunded.
