The Patroon Bayou area near the old Carter's Ferry has been our home since the tall tales, big bass, armadillos, alligators and Bigfoot drew us here over 25 years ago. The local lore includes outlaws and lawmen, outposts that welcomed settlers to the Texas frontier, and timber and steamboats plying the Sabine River. Much history lies beneath the Toledo Bend Reservoir and along its banks, and there is reverence to the strong Men and Women who persevered and settled this wild country.
Come and let us show you the natural beauty and history of Toledo Bend Lake through kayaking. Through this lens you'll experience the natural treasures the area has to offer from native flora, fauna and history. Our Toledo Bend Kayaking Trails offer some of the finest flatwater kayaking in Texas.
We're Moving!
We're moving to 103 N. Oak St, Unit A, Hemphill, TX 75948 on the Hemphill Square! We'll be opening June 13 for the Deep East Texas Wine Escape To The Lake event and will have limited temporary hours as we continue to move and build a community driven outfitter. Until we're completely moved if you're coming from out of town, we recommend giving us a call at 936-201-6495 to make sure we'll be open.
