Our Story
We began as Toledo Bend Kayak Rental, offering guided tours and rentals on the lake. As demand grew, we expanded into a full retail outfitter — now known as Toledo Bend Outfitters, operating as a DBA under Toledo Bend Kayak Rental LLC. Today, we’re proud to be a trusted destination for kayakers across East Texas and Louisiana.

Full‑Service Kayak Repair, Customization & Installations
At Toledo Bend Outfitters, we keep you on the water with a full range of professional kayak services. Our service department handles repairs on nearly any brand of kayak or drive system, along with custom rigging, accessory installations, and performance upgrades. Whether you need a quick fix or a full setup, we’ve got you covered.
Repairs & Parts
We service most kayak and drive brands and keep replacement props and fins for Hoodoo drives and Newport motors in stock. If you need a specific part or upgrade we don’t currently have on hand, we can order it in quickly.
Custom Installations
Our team provides expert installation for a wide range of accessories and rigging options, including:
- Free installation of select YakAttack accessories with purchase
- Free installation of pad kits with the purchase of a kayak and pad kit
- Newport electric motor installations start at $200
We’re here to help you build the perfect setup for fishing, fitness, or adventure.
Seasonal Maintenance
Seasonal maintenance is recommended for all kayaks and drive systems at least once a year, in addition to regular cleaning after each use. Routine service helps extend the life of your equipment and ensures peak performance on the water.
$75 Seasonal Maintenance Includes:
- Complete drive inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments
- Full bow‑to‑stern inspection and cleaning
Add‑On:
- UV Protectant Application — $25
Seasonal maintenance does not include repairs or parts replacement.
