FISHING: Our kayaks are not rigged for fishing although people do fish from them. We strongly encourage anglers to take a kayak fishing safety class prior to fishing from a kayak. Please treat the kayak as if it were your own. You will receive a clean kayak. Do not place bait, fish, attractant or empty cans or containers inside kayak hatches. Thoroughly wash any bait or fish slime from the deck of the kayak. A minimum $250 up to $500 cleaning fee per kayak will be charged to your card on file for any bait, fish remains, or attractant left inside or on the kayak.
Please do not drag the kayaks, strap improperly, put empty containers, food, perishable items etc. inside the hatches! Please treat the kayak as if it were your own. You will be billed up to the cost of a new kayak ($500) for damages caused by dragging, exposure to rocks, docks, warping from excessive heat, improper strapping, etc. You will receive a clean kayak. We understand having fun in you kayak can be a dirty affair and mud, plant debris, snack crumbs, etc. are expected after a day of paddling, however leaving perishables, empty cans, bait, or otherwise stinky stuff in or on the kayak is not cool. A minimum $250 up to $500 cleaning fee per kayak will be charged to your card on file for any perishables, spoiled food, odorous spills or residue, etc. left inside or on the kayak.
